Kick off summer in a big way at our Memorial Day Extravaganza, a full weekend packed with activities, food, and campground fun for everyone. On Saturday, May 23, the day begins at 11:00am with tie-dye T-shirts, and campers are encouraged to bring any item they would like to dye. At 1:00pm we’ll host a bags tournament, marking the first event in our Bur Oaks Bags Series, followed by BBQ pork steaks at 2:30pm and a taco bar at 7:00pm. Also at 7:00pm, the Rec Hall doors will open for our mouse races and silent auction, which is our only fundraiser of the year. We ask everyone to start preparing their most creative silent auction baskets, or feel free to drop off items for us to assemble into baskets.
